Someday the beautiful beams of this old shed will be a GREAT ROOM in the farmhouse. This structure will be elevated 1 1/2 feet, and then a new basement for storing farm equipment will be constructed underneath

Swallow Tail Caterpillers
Swallowtail caterpillers on parsley. Carrie and Stacey pick parsley to dry for use this winter. They remove any caterpillers they find and put them back in their garden.

Swallowtail butterflies abound on the farm. Carrie lets the caterpillers grow on her parsley because the butterflies are so beautiful.
